At the annual Summit 2023 user conference, Snowpark Container Services (SPCS) was introduced. It is a fully managed container offering that allows you to easily deploy, manage, and scale containerized services, jobs, and functions, all within the security and governance boundaries of Snowflake and requiring zero data movement.
This is particularly advantageous for advanced AI/ML models and data-intensive full-stack applications. SPCS enables the execution of full-stack applications and LLMs directly within the data governance framework, significantly enhancing data security management.
