GLOSSARY

what is transactional database

A transactional database is a type of database system that is designed to support transactions, which are groups of database operations that are executed as a single unit of work. In a transactional database, a transaction can either be completed successfully, with all of its changes committed to the database, or it can be rolled back, which means that all of its changes are undone and the database is left in its previous state.
