Mingsheng Hong has 15+ yrs of experience in data & ML and a decade of experience building and delivering Big Data products and solutions at Google, Hadapt, and Vertica. While at Google, He developed the next-gen storage and querying stack that powered Google’s $100 billion ads business. He also created a new TensorFlow backend that revolutionized Google’s AI workloads by enhancing performance and efficiency.

Today Mingsheng is the co-founder and CEO of Bluesky, focused on making SQL query/analytics faster and cheaper over data clouds so that data team can become more productive and data cloud users can manage their costs. He is passionate about leveraging the lessons learned over the years to drive business value by harnessing the power of data.
